In our collaborations with companies in the automotive industry, we often have the important role of verifying the prototype development. We do this for a number of car manufacturers and many times we are involved from start to finished product. In Volvo's work with the latest generation of the XC 90, we participated all the way to tool production, by creating prototypes to verify the surfaces of all the car's parts.

We have extensive experience in working with all types of vehicles. We are also involved in the development of smart textiles that can increase and improve the interaction between drivers and vehicles. Built-in sensors in the fabrics measure and detect if the driver becomes tired or acutely ill. The system then receives signals about what is happening and can wake up the driver or alert the vehicle or an external monitoring and control system, so that the danger can be averted.
